FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The debate over immigration reform continues to be a hot topic on the presidential campaign trail. But on Saturday, the Fresno Immigration Coalition hosted a town hall forum to discuss the impact at the local level.

Rep. Jim Costa, D-Fresno, and other guest speakers addressed a small crowd at Fresno City College. Organizers say many people have questions about the status of President Barack Obama's actions to give certain undocumented immigrants a three-year reprieve. Those plans were blocked by a judge in February.

"People are wondering what's going to happen? Am I going to get administrative relief or am I not? Can I apply or can I not? So we want to clarify that for them. We have resources here for them as well to take advantage of," said Samuel Molina with Mi Familia Vota.

Organizers say they're also encouraging those who attended Saturday's event to stay engaged and continue pushing for immigration reform.
