1 killed, 1 injured in crash near Tipton

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One person is dead after a car crash in Tulare County on Sunday.

It happened at Road 96 and Avenue 144 around 5 p.m. Tulare County Fire officials say two cars collided in the area, killing one person. They say another person suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.

The California Highway Patrol is still investigating what caused the crash.
