FRESNO, Calif. -- 1 person dies in crash on Highway 41 the Madera area, another hospitalized

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash. One person was killed and another rushed to the hospital. That person's condition is unknown at this time.

The crash happened on Highway 41, just south of Road 406 in the Madera area. The collision is bringing traffic to a standstill. It's not known what caused the crash to happen, or who the victims are.

The CHP says to expect traffic delays during their investigation.
