18-year-old man arrested in Parlier kidnapping case

Parlier Police have arrested Eduardo Gonsalez, 18, for the kidnapping and sexual assault of a young woman on December 19th.

According to authorities, the victim was walking home on the evening of Saturday, December 19th, in the area of First and J Streets in Parlier when she was approached by a dark colored minivan driven by a young Hispanic male.

The male forced the victim into the vehicle at gunpoint and drove her to a rural location, south of the city, where the assault occurred.
