FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The man accused of trying to rob a former law enforcement officer at a River Park ATM is now behind bars.
Investigators found Jeremy Lynd in Sacramento and arrested him this weekend.
They say he tried to use a stun gun to rob the former sheriff's deputy Friday, but the victim had a concealed weapons permit and fought back firing shots at Lynd and Bonnie-Sue Sevier as they tried to run him over with a stolen car.
Lynd got away but a bullet hit Sevier in the leg and police were able to arrest her.
Police say Lynd is also a suspect in an armed robbery in Turlock.
