FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --Firefighters are trying to track down the owner of a home that burned to the ground in the Friant area.
The three-thousand square foot house on Perkins Avenue and Sky Harbour Road caught fire just before 11 p.m. on Thursday. Winding roads kept firefighters from getting there quickly. Investigators do not believe anyone was hurt, but say they still need to search the house.
"No indication that there was any criminal activity, or there'd been any trespassing here, but of course, once the investigators get in here, once we get the fire a little more contained, we'll be able to take a closer look at that," said Chris King, Cal Fire Battalion Chief.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
