Grammy-nominated bluegrass group performs at Valley Children's

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Grammy-nominated bluegrass group entertained patients at Valley Children's Hospital Monday morning.

Special Consensus stopped by to belt some of its bluegrass hits for patients and their families.

Band members took a break from touring to come to the Central Valley and support Valley Children's Hospital. They're hosting a benefit concert for Valley Children's on Wednesday night.

The event will take place at the Fresno Unitarian Universalist Church in northeast Fresno at 7 p.m.

Special Consensus is donating a portion of proceeds to the hospital.

Ticket prices range from $20 to $25.
