FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --The Highway Patrol is trying to identify a man who was hit and killed on Freeway 41 early Friday morning.
The man was hit by at least one car around 12:30 a.m. on Friday as he was walking in the southbound traffic lanes, between Shields and McKinley. The driver who hit the man was injured, possibly from broken glass from the windshield. The driver is expected to survive.
Investigators haven't released any details on the man who died. They're still trying to figure out what the man was doing walking in the lanes of the freeway and whether he was hit by more than one car.
