Fresno teen arrested for human trafficking

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities arrested a Fresno teenager for human trafficking.

The 17-year old was taken into custody after a joint operation by Visalia police, the FBI and the Department of Justice.

He is suspected of operating a prostitution ring out of motels in Visalia. Eight women, ranging in age from 18 to 47, were also taken into custody.

Most of the women are from the valley, along with one from San Francisco and one listed as a Chinese national.
