FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man wanted for carjacking and an armed home invasion is now off the streets of Fresno.

Around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday officers located Gary Osorio at a home near Ashlan and Hughes in northwest Fresno. Police said Osorio tried to run out the back door but realized he was surrounded and ran back inside.

After a two hour stand-off, he eventually gave up and police took him into custody. "This individual obviously had no care or concern for the community. He was armed and doing incredibly serious crimes. We are very thankful he peacefully surrendered and there was excellent work to secure him and protect this neighborhood," said Joe Alvarez, Fresno Police Department.

A woman inside the home was not arrested after the stand-off.

Osorio is now facing charges related to three separate cases
