Chaffee Zoo animals make Super Bowl prediction

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Super Bowl fever has hit the Chaffee Zoo.

An animal at the African Safari Exhibit has made her selection for this year's Super Bowl winner.

Visitors to the zoo spent some time there to watch Zamaya in action, and the lion picked the ball with the Denver Broncos logo on it. To entice Zamaya, handlers hid meat underneath the team logo balls.

In the past four years, animals at the zoo have only made the correct prediction once.

Others animals that have participated include a duck and Siabu the orangutan.
