Wrong-way driver causes accident in Fresno County
Authorities say a wrong-way driver caused two separate collisions involving four other vehicles near Clovis and North Avenues Saturday night.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are investigating a major injury crash involving several cars in Fresno County.

They say a wrong-way driver caused two separate collisions near Clovis and North Avenues.

It happened around 10 p.m. when California Highway Patrol officers say the wrong-way driver caused two separate crashes involving four other vehicles.

All of the victims in the correct lanes suffered minor injuries while the wrong-way driver suffered major injuries. "That's still ongoing, we have a lot to go through in that one car," Matt Radke with the CHP said. "We're actually going to be taking the vehicle into evidence so we can look into that but, right now, no one is saying anything about obvious signs of intoxication."

This crash is still under investigation.
