FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- More than 150 kids rubbed elbows and exchanged soccer strategies with Fresno State Athletics Saturday.

It was part of the 2016 Kids Soccer Clinic put together by Fresno Building Healthy Communities and Fresno State Athletics.

Kids got a chance to learn about the game of soccer, including the rules and regulations as well as tips and techniques to play the game more competitively and effectively. "I know that a lot of these kids might not get this opportunity elsewhere," goalkeeper Nicole Theroux said. "So, I think it's important for us to help these kids again explore soccer."

All participants were provided lunch courtesy of Port of Subs. They also got to take home goody bags which included movie screening tickets to Zootopia donated by ABC30.
