FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A small car crash led to a drug bust in northeast Fresno Sunday.

The accident happened right off of Highway 41 at Shaw Avenue. Police say two people in a truck paid the other driver, but the money turned out to be counterfeit so the victim called authorities.

Officers found the truck and pulled it over. That's when a police dog led them to what appeared to be meth. "Meth drives other crimes," Sgt. Tim Tietjen with the Fresno Police Department said. "On the property crimes in the community and the violent crimes."

Both men in the truck, Samuel and Jeremy Jameson, were arrested.

An investigation is still underway.
