Kingsburg man surprises niece as Batman

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A valley man may be in the running for uncle of the year after pulling off a sweet surprise at his niece's 7th birthday party.

He showed up at the celebration in Kingsburg dressed up as Batman. The birthday girl's 2-year-old sister even got to play patty cake with the caped crusader. What the kids didn't know is that he's basically blind as a bat, and couldn't wear his thick glasses under the suit so he had to be led around by another person. Sacrificing his safety, like most superheroes do.
