FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Members of law enforcement in the South Valley are gearing up for another game on the hardwood, all for a cause.

Players from last year's fundraiser basketball game raised money for the Tulare County Peace Officer's Memorial. Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux, Fire Chief Charlie Norman, Supervisor Pete Vander Poel and others will take on the Basketball Beauties from Los Angeles.

The beauties are a basketball league featuring talented and accomplished women from Hollywood.

The two teams are encouraging everyone to come watch the game and honor our fallen officers, including those who passed recently, Tulare County Deputy Scott Ballantyne and pilot James Chavez. "But for those names that do end up on this wall, we want to honor it in such a great way that we want to continually improve upon this memorial," Boudreaux said.
