FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) --Dog lovers are in for a treat this weekend.
The Canine Agility Trials take place this weekend at the Madera District Fairgrounds.
Canine agility is one of the fastest-growing dog sports in the country. More than 100 dogs and their handlers will scale obstacle courses while racing against the clock.
"Most of us come out because it's fun, but there are a lot of us that are a little more competitive so we want to go out there and earn titles," Vivian Vidoli explained.
The free event runs all weekend starting at 9 a.m., rain or shine. This is the the first time the Canine Agility Club of Fresno has brought the event to the Central Valley.
They plan on having a second time trial event in April.
