New fundraising record set for Kids Day

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new fundraising record has been set for Kids Day.

Officials with Valley Children's Hospital say $538,000 has been raised so far. It all happened Tuesday when thousands of volunteers sold special Kids Day editions of the Fresno Bee.

Officials say they are still counting donations so the total will go up.
