Fresno State will face Utah in NCAA Tournament opener

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno State Men's Basketball Team will face Utah in the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

The game will be played at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on Thursday. Fresno State (25-9 OVR, 13-5 MW) won the Mountain West Tournament to earn the automatic bid, Utah (26-8 OVR, 13-5 Pac-12) is an at-large selection out of the Pac-12. The Utes lost the Pac-12 Tournament Championship 88-57 to Oregon.
