FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for two hit-and-run suspects after a car slammed into a church in Central Fresno.
Investigators say it happened when a gold car ran a red light at Belmont and Fulton Avenues and collided with another car.
The impact also sent that gold car careening into the church. Two people then got out of the vehicle and ran away from the scene.
Officers say the church was occupied at the time of the crash.
"It's my understanding that there were some people in a class in that first room there and, thankfully, no one got hurt," Sgt. Richard Brown with the Fresno Police Department said.
The driver of the other car involved suffered minor injuries.
