Kids Day 2016 donations set an all-time record

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Thanks the public's generosity Kids Day 2016 was a success and organizers say the fundraiser set an all-time record. In all, $591,000 was raised for Valley Children's Hospital.

Last Tuesday, volunteers sold special "Kids Day" editions of the Bee with every dollar going towards daily operations at the non-profit facility.

In the past 28 years Kids Day has raised more than $7 million.

It's an event ABC30 has been a sponsor of since the beginning. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
