Fire breathing stunt goes badly wrong
Flames were leaping up from the floor of the gym.

DELRAY BEACH, Florida -- A stuntman is recovering after he set himself on fire during a pep rally at a Florida high school.

The fire breather, who was hired by the school, says he's done the routine for 30 years without a problem, but this time he was using a type of oil he'd never used before.

Students were stunned when the man's face caught fire right in front of them. The oil used in the stunt made a huge fire in the center of the gym.

The stuntman tried to beat the flames out, but eventually fire extinguishers were used.

Some students suffering from smoke inhalation and respiratory issues caused by fire extinguisher fumes were taken to the hospital.
