1 wounded in Tower District drive-by shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police are investigating a shooting that took place just after midnight at The Million Elephant.

Police say two suspicious cars drove past the restaurant and someone fired shots. A security guard in his late 20s to 30s was hit, but is expected to be okay.

Detectives say there was a disturbance at the business earlier in the night, and they are working to find out if that was tied to the shooting in any way. Officers also detained a man after the shooting and they are working to find out if he had any involvement in the shooting.
