Fight off Easter candy calories
With Easter upon us, we will be spending time with family and friends, hiding Easter eggs and enjoying the outdoors.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- With Easter upon us, we will be spending time with family and friends, hiding Easter eggs and enjoying the outdoors.

I want you to be conscious of your food intake. We tend to over indulge with the high-calorie high-in-fat and low-in-nutrient food that we don't normally eat on a daily basis.

On average, we consume over 3,850 calories in one Easter meal. That amount is more than enough to set you back from your goals to lose weight and get healthy. Try to make a conscious decision this Easter and look at what you are consuming and try not to go overboard.

Have fun and enjoy your time with family and friends maybe start a new holiday tradition and go for a walk after your meal. You don't want to ruin months of working out in one weekend of overindulgence.

I'm Rhonda Murphy with your Workout Wednesday.
