Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run accident in Northeast Fresno

Authorities say the collision occurred at Shaw and Fresno Avenues Wednesday night when a 20-year-old man was trying to cross Shaw Avenue, heading towards Fashion Fair mall, and was struck.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are searching for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident in Northeast Fresno.

Authorities say the collision occurred at Shaw and Fresno Avenues Wednesday night. They say the 20-year-old man was trying to cross Shaw Avenue heading towards Fashion Fair Mall when he was struck.

He was unconscious when emergency crews arrived and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later regained consciousness. The man is expected to make a full recovery.

No arrests have been made.
