FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno's city hall was the scene for a film shoot Saturday morning. Potentially turning some valley residents into big screen stars.

Crew members with Tremendum Pictures are shooting a trailer for their latest project. The scene at city hall was meant to resemble a political rally in the movie they've tentatively named "Slugger". Once they're done with this trailer their plan is to shop it around to studios in Hollywood in hopes of getting financial support. If things work out they'll continue filming, right here in Fresno.

"It would bring the fun of making movies here. It would bring a lot of money here. It would bring jobs. There's a lot of cool things we are planning on doing. And we're just glad we could use this cool city building-- city hall to do all this stuff," said Travis Cluff, Tremendum Pictures

Tremendum Pictures is the company behind the horror movie "The Gallows", which had quite a bit of success at the box office last year. They tell Action News plans are in place to make a sequel.
