FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- More than 5,000 people celebrated the best of Fresno at the annual Fres-Yes Fest Saturday.

The free event had 18 different food trucks, live local music and pop up vendors from around the Valley. It's the second time the Tioga Sequoia Brewery has hosted the celebration.

It started last year as an anniversary for the business and has since grown in size beyond what the organizers expected.

"We're going to try and make it better and better, whether it's better acts, more entertainment, bigger venue," Tioga Sequoia Brewery president Michael Cruz said. "We expanded onto the street for the first time ever. We may have to expand to two more streets. We're going to do what it takes to keep growing this thing and showcasing the best of Fresno."

All of the vendors who participated didn't have to pay park at the event. So, organizers say, for some businesses, it's their biggest event of the year.
