Black bear spotted on top of power pole in Tulare County

THREE RIVERS, Calif. (KFSN) -- An unusual sight in Tulare County Wednesday when a black bear was spotted on top of a power pole in Three Rivers.

Jim Kennard works for Southern California Edison and captured a photo of the bear. He spotted the wild animal climbing up to the top to scavenge for acorns.

Kennard said shortly after taking the picture the bear scurried back down safely.
