Armed teens arrested in Fresno
Several people called 911 to report a possible robbery at Rally's and suspects pointing guns at drivers in the area.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two teenagers are in custody after Fresno Police say they were armed with rifles and out to cause trouble.

Officers found one of the guns in the pant leg of a 15-year-old who ran from the scene, and another in a trash can after a 14-year-old allegedly ditched it there.

The trouble started around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning near Olive Avenue and Parkway Street. Several people called 911 to report a possible robbery at Rally's and suspects pointing guns at drivers in the area.

Investigators say it turns out the teens were trying to rent a hotel room in the area, but were denied. So, they came back with the weapons.

There are no reports of injuries or shots fired.
