Woman found unresponsive in road, Fresno Police search for suspect

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Investigators are looking for the suspect who allegedly beat up a woman in Central Fresno.

The incident happened just after 11 p.m. Sunday near First Street and Belmont Avenue. Family members told police that the woman and the suspect had originally gotten into an argument at a home nearby. When police arrived, they found the woman unresponsive lying in the street. She was taken to the hospital for treatment, but is expected to be okay.
