Body found near a Starbucks in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a suspicious death near a Starbucks coffee store.

Around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon a Starbucks employee taking trash to the dumpster noticed a body lying on the ground. Police were called and found the dead man right behind the dumpster with something around his neck. It also appears he had trauma to his face.

Police don't believe the body had been there for very long and are currently treating this as a suspicious death.
