Man found dead in an orchard near Pixley

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Deputies in the South Valley are investigating a homicide.

Tulare County Sheriff's deputies say they found a man lying in an orchard yesterday morning near Avenue 72 and Road 120 near Pixley. They say he had been shot in the head and died.

Investigators identified the victim as 30-year-old Abrahan Gaspar-Reyes from the Sanger area.

The sheriff's office has not released any suspect information.
