More than 100 people spared their Saturday afternoon to strike out for kids who need mentors.

They're pretty excited about the annual Bowl For Kids' Sake event in Madera and a lot of the bowlers brought their 'A' games to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central California.

Action News reporter Vanessa Vasconcelos emceed the Madera event and she bowled with Tommy Tran and Corin Hoggard at the Clovis event.

You have a couple chances to bowl for kids next weekend in the south valley in Visalia and Hanford.
