Authorities search for suspects after a burglary, high speed chase near Kingsburg

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- One man is detained and the search is on for more suspects following an early morning pursuit and crash.

Around 2:30 Monday morning near Kingsburg, officials say they had a report of a home burglary in progress. As Kingsburg police approached the home, a silver SUV sped away. A pursuit started reaching speeds up to 100 miles an hour, when they stopped chasing the car.

Soon after, officers found the SUV crashed into a power pole on Clarkson Avenue near Highway 43. One man was found injured at the scene. He's being treated at the hospital before being booked at the Fresno County Jail.

The other suspects ran from the scene.
