Madera Police investigate a double shooting

MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police responded to reports of gunfire to find two men wounded.

The incident happened on Bernardi Street near Road 26 1/2 and Pecan Avenue in Madera. Officers found two men with gunshot wounds after witnesses say a suspicious vehicle was in the area.

The men were taken to a local hospital and both underwent surgery, according to police.
