FRESNO, Calif. -- A community art exhibit dedicated to victims of crime is on display in Visalia Friday.

It's part of National Crime Victims' Rights Week and it went along with this year's theme of "serving victims, building trust, restoring hope."

The exhibit featured 16 quilts made over the years by friends and family of Tulare County crime victims, along with other pieces of artwork. Organizers say this kind of healing through art brings families together.

The event was open to the public.
