FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police are searching for two suspects Friday after a shooting left a woman injured in southeast Fresno.
Officers say the altercation happened near Orleans and 2nd streets.
The two suspects first confronted a man outside who then ran into a house. The suspects followed and fired a shot that accidentally hit a woman nearby.
That victim was transported to the hospital where officers say she will recover.
"The two suspects then left the scene, witnesses say they got into a dark or black Dodge vehicle, possibly a four-door car," Lt. Ron Hughes with the Fresno Police Department said. "We are asking anyone with information to please call."
Officers say the intended victim fled from the scene after the shooting but officers were able to catch up with him.
The two suspects are described as being in their early 20s and around 5-foot-8 with a medium built.
