Fresno felon back in jail

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police say a convicted felon is back in jail for yet another weapons-related arrest.

Authorities found Louis Amps early Saturday morning urinating on a tree near Fresno and B Streets. After several attempts to get Amps to cooperate, police had to chase the suspect to arrest him.

They later found a loaded gun and drugs in Amps car.

Police say Amps has an extensive criminal history including several weapons-related convictions.

He's now in the Fresno County jail on multiple felony charges.
