Clovis holds photo re-creation contest

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The "get the picture" photo contest encourages you to re-create older photos taken around the city. Subjects can be landmarks, events or portraits.

The only rule is the pictures must somehow include the City of Clovis and be a re-creation of an older photo.

Send your picture through the city's Facebook page.

The contest runs until May 2nd. First prize is $300 and second prize is $150. A "fan favorite" award will go to the photographer whose picture gets the most "likes" on Facebook.

You have until May 2nd to submit your photos.
