Argument leads to Northwest Fresno shooting
Police arrested Montrell Skinner after he allegedly pulled a handgun and fired several shots. He then fled to a nearby apartment where officers were able to surround and detain him.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police arrested a man Monday evening after a shooting critically injured one.

Officers say the victim got into an argument with the suspect along Shaw and Polk Avenues.

Police arrested Montrell Skinner after he allegedly pulled a handgun and fired several shots. He then fled to a nearby apartment where officers were able to surround and detain him.

Skinner has been charged with felony assault.

The victim sustained several gunshot wounds to his back and is in critical but stable condition.
