2-alarm house fire in Northeast Fresno
Firefighters were at the scene of a house fire in Northeast Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters were at the scene of a house fire in Northeast Fresno.

Flames broke out at the home on Holland Avenue, near ashlan avenue and Freeway 168, just before 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

It took firefighters more than 30 minutes to bring the flames under control.

Investigators said the fire was caused by a generator in the back of the house.

The homeowner got out safely but the damage is estimated at $120,000.
