Fresno City College hosts AsianFest 2016
This weekend hundreds are expected to come to Fresno City College to celebrate Asian cultures.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- This weekend hundreds are expected to come to Fresno City College to celebrate Asian cultures.

AsianFest celebrates all Asian American cultures and showcases the talents of performers, artists, and community participants. The event includes live performances, demonstrations and exhibits throughout the day along with local Asian cuisine.

There will be a Mandarin Speech Contest, Martial Arts hour, and vendor fair and Anime Alley. The Asian cultural village is informative and interactive and highlights the children's stage performances during the afternoon show. The kid's craft area is set up next to the main stage offers families a creative fun zone where families can learn the Japanese art of Origami and other colorful crafts.

This weekend hundreds are expected to come to Fresno City College to celebrate Asian cultures.

Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Fresno City College Main Fountain, Campus Mall, Free Speech Area, cafeteria, and surrounding areas.

The event and parking are free.
