Family members have identified the two teenagers who died in a car crash Saturday night in Fresno County.

Police say 17-year-old Merrick Asher and 15-year-old Mason Asher were in a Pontiac sedan with two other people when the car failed to yield at a stop sign at West Lincoln Avenue and Henderson Road, southwest of Fresno.

They crossed right in front of a Chevrolet pickup truck where a family of three was inside.

Merric and Asher were both in the front of the car.

The other two passengers, plus a little boy in the truck, were taken to the hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.
