Fresno County moms honored with special ceremony

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- All moms are special but one woman was honored Friday for all she does at a special luncheon.

Wendy Lloyd Wagoner was named Fresno County's 2016 Mother of the Year. The Fresno County Women's Chamber of Commerce has been honoring mothers for the last 74 years.

The luncheon was held at Pardini's where friends and family shared Wagoner's many accomplishments, including balancing a career as an attorney while caring for a severely handicapped son.

As well as making time for her daughter and step-children.

Several other special moms were honored at the day's event as well.
