Road rage leads to multiple crashes in Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Road rage led to multiple damaged cars Saturday in a Northwest Fresno neighborhood after an incident on Highway 99.

Police say a white pickup truck bumped into a motorcycle on the freeway, and the group of bikers started following the pickup before the driver quickly sped off trying to escape.

Officers say he got scared and he was driving very erratically, sideswiping cars before plowing head-on into a parked pickup.

Investigators are now trying to figure out whether drugs or alcohol were involved or if the driver suffers from some sort of mental condition.
