FRESNO, Calif. -- A couple of gang members are in jail and their alleged accomplice is on the run after they jumped a guy in a central Fresno hotel.

Fresno Police say Melissa Vongphakdy was in the hotel room with a man from Oakland and he caught her rummaging through his backpack while he was showering. After she was caught, she grabbed the keys, and left the room.

Almost immediately, a couple guys covering their faces with T-shirts burst into the room. One of them had a gun and they stole about $5,000 in cash and jewelry.

Police say those men were, Cameron Woods and David Newsome. They are both in jail. Police are still looking for Vongphakdy.

Woods is already facing charges for a crash two years ago in Southwest Fresno. Police say he was trying to get away from them, speeding at more than 70 miles an hour on city streets, and ran a stop sign when he hit a bus full of kids from Anchor Academy.
