Merced kids pie principal as reward for perfect attendance
It's not a punishment for Mrs. Colburn, it's a reward for the kids who showed up to school every day of the year.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Up in the North Valley was a messy picture of perfection.

There were 22 kids at John Muir Elementary School that whipped pies at their principal Friday.

It's not a punishment for Mrs. Colburn, it's a reward for the kids who showed up to school every day of the year.

Perfect attendance earned them a shot at making a whipped cream pie and throwing it at their well-shielded principal.
