VFW decorates Clovis cemetery with American flags

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Memorial Day weekend is also a time for remembrance and a tribute to heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.

At the Academy Cemetery in Clovis, the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post placed American flags next to the graves of all the veterans they could find.

Dozens of them will be dotting the cemetery through the weekend, and on Monday, the same group will put up flags at the Clovis cemetery at Herndon and Villa as a sign of respect to the veterans buried there.
