2 students sent to hospital after bus crash in West Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Two students were transported to the hospital and several others suffered minor injuries after a school bus accident in West Central Fresno. It happened at the intersection of Hayes and shields around 3:00 p.m.

CHP officers said a silver pickup was stopped at a stop sign, but then pulled into the path of an oncoming bus. The bus struck the side of the pickup and pushed it into the path of another car.

School officials said the bus was full of students and luckily nobody was seriously injured.
