Hillary Clinton making stop in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Just days before the June seventh primary Hillary Clinton is bringing her campaign to the Fresno area.

Local Clinton campaign official, Doug Kessler, tells Action News the former secretary of state and first lady will hold a rally in the Fresno area this weekend.

The exact day, time, and place for the political event are still being worked out, and the Valley heat may determine where the rally is held.

A spokesperson for Clinton's statewide campaign would not confirm her appearance in the Fresno area.

Misses Clinton picked up a major endorsement Tuesday from California Governor Jerry Brown and she has numerous fundraisers and campaign events planned in the golden state starting Wednesday through next Monday-- the day before the primary.

Clinton's appearance in Fresno follows recent presidential campaign events in town from her husband and former president Bill Clinton, as well as Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.
